RIYADH: 海角直播鈥檚 Chief of General Staff Lieutenant-General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili presented Pakistan鈥檚 Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza with a King Abdulaziz Medal of the Excellent Class in Riyadh on Saturday.
The award was made in recognition of Mirza鈥檚 efforts to consolidate the bonds of friendship and joint cooperation between the Kingdom and Pakistan and strengthen Saudi-Pakistani relations, the Saudi Press Agency said.
The medal was given to Mirza during a meeting with Al-Ruwaili and in accordance with a royal directive from King Salman.
The two officials reviewed aspects of cooperation in the defense and military fields between their countries and ways to strengthen and develop them in the meeting.A number of topics of common interest were also discussed, SPA said.
