Saudi Broadcasting Authority chief meets withÌýSri Lankan envoy

RIYADH: Saudi Broadcasting Authority CEO Mohammed Al-Harthi received Sri Lankan ambassador to º£½ÇÖ±²¥, Omar Lebbe Ameer Ajwad, in Riyadh.

During the meeting, the two sides explored avenues for bilateral cooperation in the media sector, particularly in television and program production, content exchange, and media expertise sharing, Saudi Press Agency reported on Wednesday.

They also discussed opportunities for joint media training between the two countries and Sri Lanka’s upcoming participation in the Saudi Media Forum.

RIYADH: º£½ÇÖ±²¥â€™s Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan held talks in Riyadh on Sunday with Vijeetha Herath, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Overseas Employment, and Tourism of Sri Lanka.

During the meeting, the two ministers discussed relations between their countries and exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual concern, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Prince Faisal presented Herath with a commemorative postage stamp marking 50 years of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom and Sri Lanka.

The Director of the South Asia Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Majid bin Abdulrahman Al-Otaibi, also attended the meeting, SPA added.
