  • National Day鈥檚 visual identity comprises six main illustrations, each representing a distinct national trait
  • To unify online participation, the following hashtag has been approved for public and official use: #SaudiNationalDay95

JEDDAH: The theme and visual identity for the 95th Saudi National Day on Sept. 23 were unveiled on Monday with the slogan 鈥淧ride in Our Nature.鈥

The announcement was made by Turki Alalshikh, the chairman of the General Entertainment Authority and chairman of the Saudi Boxing Federation, who shared the news on his official account on X.

It read: 鈥淭he new identity for #95th_National_Day is now launched under the slogan #Pride_In_Our_Nature. Download the identity and its applications: https://nd.gea.gov.sa.鈥

This year鈥檚 identity is a tribute to the character, values and ambitions that define the Kingdom of 海角直播, the GEA said.

It celebrates how Saudis are known for their generosity, authenticity, ambition, kindness, and a willingness to stand by one another in moments of need.

The National Day鈥檚 visual identity comprises six main illustrations, each representing a distinct national trait. These core values are visually translated into symbols inspired by Saudi culture and history.

There is generosity, which is symbolized by the dallah (traditional coffee pot) and finjan (coffee cup), representing Saudi hospitality.

The country鈥檚 authenticity is emphasized by the cultural depth and heritage embedded in the Saudi way of life.

Ambition, represented by Tuwaiq Mountain, symbolizes resilience and a high-reaching national spirit, inspired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman鈥檚 famous quote comparing Saudi ambition to the steadfastness of the iconic mountain.

Faz鈥檃h (solidarity and aid), depicted through crossed hands and inspired by a well-known gesture by the crown prince, symbolizes readiness, unity and mutual support.

Vision 2030, incorporated as a future-focused trait, showcases 海角直播鈥檚 strategic road map for development and transformation.

Hospitality highlights the Kingdom鈥檚 commitment to philanthropy and supporting others.

Each illustration is paired with a unique color identity, and supported by three secondary pattern designs, creating a visually rich and cohesive image that mirrors the diversity and unity of the Saudi people.

The official logo features geometric typography fused with patterns inspired by traditional Saudi weaving techniques.

The phrase 鈥淧ride in Our Nature鈥 is visually constructed using bold, block-like forms in a modern expression of heritage, unity, and national pride. The logo鈥檚 integrity is protected. It must not be altered, redrawn, or manipulated in any way.

A dedicated typeface has also been developed to complement the identity, available in multiple font weights to ensure clarity and consistency across all official applications.

The identity package includes a wide range of ready-to-use assets such as visuals of Saudi leadership, official National Day logos, templates for office and outdoor advertisements, product applications and digital resources for download at https://nd.gea.gov.sa.

To unify online participation, the following hashtag has been approved for public and official use: #SaudiNationalDay95.

  • Border Guard teams in Haql recently rescued three people from the water

RIYADH: The Maritime Safety Awareness Exhibition, which is organized by the General Directorate of Border Guard, is taking place in the Eastern Province to promote safe maritime practices and issue warnings against swimming in unauthorized areas.

Running through to Thursday at the Mall of Dhahran, the exhibition highlights key beach safety regulations, penalties for violating rules, and guidance on safe behavior at sea. It also showcases the directorate鈥檚 search-and-rescue efforts.

Visitors are reminded to check the weather, be cautious during changes of conditions, and ensure vessels are seaworthy before heading out, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The directorate urges all beachgoers to follow safety instructions and swim only in designated areas, the SPA added.

Border Guard teams in Haql recently rescued three people from the water, while teams in Jeddah assisted nine citizens and an Indian resident after their vessel broke down.

  • Transformative environmental campaign set to combat desertification and enhance quality of life

RIYADH: The Green Qassim Land Initiative has made a significant leap in afforestation, planting a total of 7,521,316 trees across cities, governorates, and villages during its 15th phase.

This effort is part of an integrated plan to enhance vegetation cover, combat desertification, and improve quality of life, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Monday.

Launched in 2016 with support from Qassim Gov. Prince Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud and oversight by Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Abdulrahman Al-Fadhli, the initiative has grown steadily each year.

Salman Al-Swainah, director general of the ministry鈥檚 Qassim branch, called it one of the Kingdom鈥檚 most prominent environmental initiatives due to its tangible results.

The initiative runs in two annual phases 鈥 March and October 鈥 to ensure optimal climatic conditions for tree growth and sustainability, the SPA reported.

Al-Swainah highlighted that the initiative鈥檚 success stems from strong cooperation among government agencies, the private sector, environmental groups, and volunteers, reflecting rising societal awareness of afforestation鈥檚 importance for ecological balance.

Recently, the initiative received regional and international recognition at the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development Goals held at the UN headquarters in New York.

This recognition came during a presentation by Saudi Green Building Forum Secretary-General Faisal Al-Fadl at a regional session chaired by the UN Economic and Social Council.

Al-Fadl described the initiative as an integrated national model balancing environmental, economic, and social dimensions, according to the SPA.

He noted it has become a regional role model, planting millions of trees, creating hundreds of green jobs, and driving sustainable urban transformation.

The Green Qassim Land Initiative is a key environmental effort supporting the Kingdom鈥檚 broader strategy to expand vegetation, combat climate change, and achieve sustainability.

It also raises community awareness and promotes environmental volunteering, aligning with the Saudi Green Initiative and Quality of Life programs under Vision 2030.

Additionally, the initiative supports goals related to rural employment, clean water, sustainable cities, and responsible consumption and production.
