RIYADH: The Saudi Pro League has announced the fixture list for the 2025-26 Roshn Saudi League, with the new campaign kicking off on Thursday, Aug. 28

Matchday 1 sees reigning champions Al-Ittihad begin their title defense away to Al-Okhdood, while Cristiano Ronaldo — fresh from signing his new contract — and Al-Nassr also hit the road to take on Al-Taawoun, one of last season’s surprise packages.

Following their superb run to the FIFA Club World Cup quarterfinals, Al-Hilal start their campaign with a city derby clash against Al-Riyadh.

Speaking to Arab News on the sidelines of the LEAP 2025 technology conference in Riyadh, Pablo Sanz, executive director of digital products, said: “We are deploying multiple AI agents … so we can serve you better or we can solve your problems in a more convenient way.”

RIYADH: A 45,000-seater stadium is to be built in southwest Riyadh, a ROSHN Group statement revealed on Tuesday.

The landmark mixed-use project, which will be built over 450,000 sq. meters, will also contain shops, restaurants and hospitality venues.

The statement said the stadium will be characterized by its “modern crystalline design emerging into the sky from the surrounding district” and will be inspired by the “urban fabric and architectural features of ��ֱ��’s central region.”

JEDDAH: Jeddah’s popular waterfront promenade has been renovated by Saudi developer and owner ROSHN.

The area, opened in 2017 and renamed ROSHN Waterfront in 2022, contains a range of amenities, attractions and entertainment activities.

More than 55 million people visit the site each year.

ROSHN, which is wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund, said the renovation will enhance community participation, empower creative people and improve the public landscape.

RIYADH: Saudi real estate developer ROSHN Group has signed a deal with Cisco to explore the use of the Internet of Things in the company’s sustainable smart buildings.

According to a press statement, this collaboration framework will also see technologies developed by the US-based firm being employed in the giga-project’s innovation hub which will be opened next year.

A smart building converges various building-wide systems — such as air conditioning, lighting, alarms, and security — into a single IT-managed network infrastructure, according to Cisco’s website.

RIYADH: ROSHN Group, ��ֱ��’s leading national real estate developer, signed a SR215 million ($57.3 million) sale and purchase agreement with partner developer Dar Al Arkan, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

Under the agreement, Dar Al Arkan will acquire and develop residential villas in SEDRA 1A, which is in northern Riyadh.

ROSHN’s latest collaboration with a Saudi developer is part of the company’s overall strategy to team up with best-in-class entities in a variety of domain-specific services.
