LONDON: Pakistan’s Army Staff Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir has held talks with Jordan’s King Abdullah and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on boosting military cooperation.

At the meeting on Sunday in Amman, the officials also discussed related regional developments, according to the Petra news agency.

Huneiti and Munir held a separate meeting to explore military cooperation. The agenda included training, operational and logistical programs, and joint exercises.

Munir praised King Abdullah for promoting regional security and stability.

Pakistan’s ambassador and defense attache in Amman, and several senior Jordanian officers attended the meeting.
