RIYADH: The Saudi capital will host the eighth Global Health Exhibition from Oct. 27 to 30 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center under the theme “Invest in Health.”
The event is sponsored by the Ministry of Health and supported by the Health Sector Transformation Program, part of Vision 2030, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
It will feature more than 2,000 exhibitors, 500 speakers, and at least 20 international pavilions, serving as a platform for knowledge exchange and health and digital innovations.
Building on the 2024 edition, which highlighted King Faisal Specialist Hospital’s robotic heart transplant, the exhibition will focus on practical solutions to healthcare challenges.
The previous edition also showcased Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-cell production for cancer treatment, a virtual reality command center for medical education, and pharmacogenetic analysis services for personalized medication.
The King Abdullah Ear Specialist Center at King Saud University recently performed the region’s first cochlear implant surgery using a robotic hand, reflecting ongoing medical progress.
The exhibition offers healthcare professionals, students, and researchers opportunities to network, attend scientific sessions, and explore career paths.
