The people of º£½ÇÖ±²¥ are widely recognized, both regionally and globally, for their unique and enduring relationship with the House of Al-Saud — a bond that began in 1727 and has flourished for nearly 300 years.
This unique relationship between the Saudi people and the House of Al-Saud has become a beacon of stability and unity in the region, forming the foundation of our nation’s progress and resilience.
Mr. President, your visit to the Kingdom during your second term underscores the strength of the strategic partnership between º£½ÇÖ±²¥ and the US — a relationship that both sides value and strive to elevate to new and promising horizons.
This marks your second visit to the Kingdom as president, following your historic visit in 2017 during your first term.
Indeed, the bilateral relationship between our nations was first established in 1945 during the historic meeting between King Abdulaziz and President Franklin D. Roosevelt aboard the USS Quincy.
That moment laid the foundation for decades of cooperation, mutual respect, and shared strategic interests between our two nations.
Notably, just a few months ago, on Feb. 14th, we celebrated the 80th anniversary of this historic meeting, highlighting its enduring significance and the strong bond it created between our nations.
Mr. President, as you embark on this significant visit, the people of º£½ÇÖ±²¥ are eager to engage in meaningful dialogue that strengthens our partnership and opens new avenues for cooperation in an evolving global landscape.
