JEDDAH: Brazilian midfielder Fabinho has signed for º£½ÇÖ±²¥n club Al-Ittihad from Liverpool on a three-year deal, according to a club announcement on Monday.
The 29-year-old was not part of theÌırecent Liverpool training camp in Germany and was also left out of the Premier LeagueÌıclub’sÌıpre-season tripÌıSingapore as talks with the Saudi team progressed.
“The signing is part of Al-Ittihad's efforts to reinforce the team with outstanding players, who will support their journey in the upcoming phase, which includes multiple domestic and international competitions,â€Ìısaid the club.
Fabinho, who will join Karim Benzema atÌıAl-Ittihad, is the latest big-name signingÌıas part of a swatheÌıof players moving toÌıthe Saudi Pro League.
