On Wednesday, the Russian President Vladimir Putin held a phone call with the King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa al-Khalifa, according to a statement by Bahrain鈥檚 news agency (BNA).
The king expressed support for measures taken by Putin to end an armed mutiny by mercenary fighters on Saturday.
Both leaders also reviewed the bilateral relations between both countries and ways to increase cooperation across all fields to serve common interests.
According to the BNA statement,听Putin expressed his satisfaction at the level of advancement in the countries鈥 bilateral relations.
