RIYADH: Arab countries have congratulated Saudi leaders over the Kingdom’s Founding Day.
UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan and Vice President Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum sent congratulatory messages to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Emirates News Agency reported.Ìý
Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and Prime Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz also congratulated the Saudi leaders on the anniversary.Ìý
Kuwait’s Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah also took the opportunity to congratulate King Salman, praising the Kingdom’s outstanding achievements in a variety of fields.
The emir expressed his deep pride in the fraternal relations that unite the two families and their countries.
Kuwait’s Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah also sent their congratulations to King Salman on Founding Day, along with Jordan’s King Abdullah, and Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman.
º£½ÇÖ±²¥ celebrates the anniversary on Feb. 22 to recognise the foundation of the First Saudi State in 1727 by Imam Mohammed bin Saud.
