RIYADH:聽The Saudi air defenses have intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile and three drones launched by the Houthi militia in Yemen towards the kingdom's聽southern region. The Arab Parliament and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the attacks.聽
The Arab Coalition announced late Saturday that the attempts to target civilian objects and civilians were repelled and destroyed.聽It added that three聽drones launched towards the southern region have been also intercepted and destroyed,聽including one聽drone that was headed to Khamis Mushait.聽
The Arab Parliament denounced in聽a statement on Sunday聽the Houthi drone attack on 海角直播鈥檚 southern region, and reaffirmed聽its full support and solidarity with the Kingdom聽against anything that targets its security and stability.
The legislative body of the Arab League described the Houthi militia as a 鈥渢errorist organization operated from Tehran to implement a policy of spreading chaos and terror in the region and the world.鈥
Yousef聽Al-Othaimeen, secretary general of the OIC, expressed his strong condemnation to the attempt by the terrorist Houthi militia to target innocent civilians in 海角直播.
He also praised the Saudi Air Defense Forces, which were able to intercept and destroy the drones.
