RIYADH: º£½ÇÖ±²¥â€™s King Salman discussed on Friday efforts to fight coronavirus with China's President Xi Jinping during a telephone call.
The king congratulated the president on his country's efforts to fight the virus and said that it was important to learn from China’s experience of combating the pandemic. Â
Xi expressed his appreciation of º£½ÇÖ±²¥â€™s efforts to help his country fight coronavirus and thanked King Salman for hosting the extraordinary G20 summit that took place on Thursday.Â
º£½ÇÖ±²¥ currently holds the presidency of the G20.
Also on Friday, the king held a phone call with Italian prime minister Giuseppe Conte during which he confirmed the Kingdom was following with concern the latest developments in Italy and affirmed º£½ÇÖ±²¥'s solidarity with the country during the coronavirus pandemic.
