Saudi interior minister visits Mauritius to boost ties

JEDDAH: The Saudi interior minister is on an official visit to Mauritius. Showkutally Soodhun, president of the country’s ruling party, received Prince Abdul Aziz bin Saud bin Naif. 

Saudi Non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of Mauritius Gharm bin Saeed Al-Mulhan and a number of officials welcomed the interior minister at the airport.

º£½ÇÖ±²¥ and Mauritius enjoy cordial ties. Mauritius wishes to further consolidate relationships with major Gulf countries, especially with the Kingdom of º£½ÇÖ±²¥ with a view to giving a boost to bilateral, Islamic and commercial partnership.

Mauritius is planning to build five smart cities and eyeing foreign investors particularly º£½ÇÖ±²¥ to make investments in new projects.  Mauritius is one of the major tourist attractions in the world with the best beaches and resorts.
