JEDDAH: Gabon’s President Ali Bongo Ondimba arrived in Jeddah on Monday.Ìý
Makkah’s deputy governor and other top officials received him at the King Abdul Aziz International Airport.
The visiting president performed Umrah.
º£½ÇÖ±²¥ and Gabon enjoy cordial ties.Ìý Gabon opened its embassy in the Kingdom in 1976.
Following his election as the president of Gabon in 2016, Ali Bongo Ondimba had praised º£½ÇÖ±²¥'s Vision 2030 and said his country was inspired by the Saudi reform plans.
