OSN, the region’s leading entertainment network, celebrated TV’s finest primetime talent with exclusive coverage of the 69th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards.
Live from Los Angeles, subscribers in the Middle East enjoyed every moment, from the glamorous red carpet entrances to the celebrations and commiserations, at the same time as the US, exclusively on OSN Series First HD. The show was also available on OSN Play or OSN on Demand.
The nominations were announced by Anna Chlumsky (Veep) and Shemar Moore (SWAT) on July 13, with Saturday Night Live and Westworld leading the pack with 22 nominations each.
The awards ceremony was hosted by Stephen Colbert, host of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, marking his first time as master of ceremonies for the event.
OSN’s in-house entertainment show, Spotlight, reported from the red carpet. Presenter Habiba Basiony and the team interviewed the actors, directors and producers from this year’s shortlist.
The ceremony aired on Monday at 3 a.m. on OSN Series First HD.
